We’re proud to shine a light on the Junction Trail Blazers (JTB) – an extraordinary group of volunteers based in Deer Lake, NL, and proud members of AECU. Their dedication to building, maintaining, and enhancing multi-use trails has made a lasting impact on outdoor recreation across the region.
In 2024 alone, JTB completed major upgrades to warm-up shelters, improved over 40 km of trail infrastructure, and launched a bold rebranding initiative that reflects their passion and progress. From installing signage and renovating shelters to hosting community events like International Trails Day, their work is powered by generosity, grit, and a deep love for the outdoors.
JTB also gives back in meaningful ways – supporting youth sports, local fundraisers, and veterans through special rides and donations. Their efforts are a shining example of what happens when community spirit meets action.
