What We Are About
Located in the heart of Deer Lake, Newfoundland, the Junction Trail Blazers is a passionate, volunteer-driven organization committed to promoting outdoor adventure in our beautiful region throughout all four seasons. While we’re proud to offer hundreds of kilometers of groomed trails ideal for snowmobiling in the winter, our trail system is also fully accessible year-round for a variety of outdoor activities. These multi-use trails welcome ATV and UTV riders, hikers, and nature enthusiasts, providing breathtaking scenery and recreational opportunities no matter the season. Whether you’re exploring snowy landscapes or enjoying a summer ride, we’re here to help locals and visitors alike experience the best of Western Newfoundland.
Our club maintains and grooms an extensive network of snowmobile trails that connect Deer Lake to surrounding communities and wilderness areas. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a newcomer to the sport, our trails offer something for everyone—from smooth scenic routes to more rugged backcountry paths.
Founded by a group of outdoor enthusiasts, the Junction Trail Blazers have grown into a key part of the snowmobiling scene in Newfoundland. We work closely with community partners and provincial organizations to ensure safe, accessible, and well-maintained trails for all users.
But we’re more than just a trail system—we’re a community. We host events, fundraisers, and rides throughout the season that bring people together to celebrate our shared love of the outdoors. The three warmup shelters that we maintain are for members and visitors to warm up, share stories, and plan the next adventure.
Whether you’re here for a weekend or a lifetime, we invite you to hit the trails with us and see why so many call this corner of Newfoundland an off-roader’s paradise.
See you on the trails!
