After completing a full review and probing of the area, it has been confirmed there is a minimum of 15 feet of unfrozen bog in every direction.
Following yesterday’s staging efforts and getting equipment on site, the excavator has now been successfully recovered and is up and running. The drag has been disconnected from the groomer, removed from the water, and is now located at the staging area at the beginning of White River Road.
Recovery of Groomers 1 and 2 will begin tomorrow.
